Creating healthy, sustainable communities can only be achieved with the dedication of our participants and volunteers.

The best way to get involved is to come by and see what’s going on. Check out the What’s On page or subscribe to our e-news to stay in the loop.

Volunteer opportunities

We have several one-off volunteer opportunities where we need a large number of volunteers for a day or half day:

• Work party (a gathering of many to accomplish a task, e.g. closing the garden or painting)
• Events, like our “Food, Earth and Culture” Festival

Also, we do need people with specific skills including:

• Events production (sound, stage, etc)
• Children’s Workshop facilitation (training provided)
• Construction – woodworking, general building
• Handy person
• Fruit tree care
• Landscape or garden design
• Native plant knowledge
• Mandarin/English translation
• Videographers
